Our verdict
Novibet has built a genuinely well-regulated profile since launching in 2010 with a focus on the Greek market: it holds licences from the Malta Gaming Authority, Ireland's Revenue Commissioners, Greece's Hellenic Gaming Commission and Italy's ADM — five separate top- and mid-tier regulators, plus membership in the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). That combination puts it among the more thoroughly regulated multi-market operators covered here. The product itself is a competent, easy-to-use sportsbook and casino with competitive odds, well-suited to its core Southern and Western European user base. If regulatory breadth across several European jurisdictions matters to you, Novibet is a solid, credible choice.
How we rated it
Mobile & UX (10%)8
Known for a clean, easy-to-use interface across sportsbook and casino.
Sportsbook & odds (25%)7.9
Competitive odds and a well-regarded, easy-to-use interface across its core Southern/Western European markets.
Payments & payouts (20%)7.6
Standard regulated-market payment infrastructure across its licensed European markets.
Trust & licensing (20%)7.5
Still a genuinely multi-licensed operator - Malta, Ireland, Greece and Italy are all real regulators and it is an IBIA member - but marked down from the 9.0 we had published, which leaned on a UK Gambling Commission licence that Novibet SURRENDERED IN 2022 when it left the British market. We were citing a licence number that no longer resolves on the Commission's register.
Customer support (10%)7.5
Established support infrastructure across five regulated European markets.
Bonuses & value (15%)7.4
Regulated-market welcome offers, varying by country under MGA/ADM/Hellenic Gaming Commission compliance requirements.

Is Novibet licensed in the UK?
No, not any more, and we had this wrong until 20 July 2026. Novibet SURRENDERED its Great Britain licence in 2022 and left the UK market - a commercial decision, not an enforcement outcome. The Gambling Commission confirmed the surrender and required an orderly closure, including telling British customers how to get their money out. The account number we used to quote no longer exists on the public register. Novibet does still hold real licences from the Malta Gaming Authority, Ireland's Revenue Commissioners, Greece's Hellenic Gaming Commission and Italy's ADM, and it is an IBIA member - so it is a regulated operator, just not a British-regulated one. If you are in Great Britain, the UKGC complaints route is not available to you here.
