Offer withdrawn - the domain we held for this brand no longer exists

No offer shown

We have withdrawn the OrbitBet offer in Nigeria

No bonus is shown here on purpose. We have stopped promoting OrbitBet's welcome offer because there is nowhere left to claim it. The address we held for the brand, orbitbet.ng, returns NXDOMAIN - the name does not exist in DNS at all, checked against a public resolver rather than this machine's, which fails silently on gambling domains. The nearest alternative, orbitbet.com, is not the operator: it redirects to a domain marketplace listing the name for sale. Beyond that we found no entry on the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority's list or the FCT Lottery Regulation Office register, and no independent Nigerian coverage of the brand whatsoever - it appears in none of the major Nigerian bonus round-ups. Our entire previous review rested on a single affiliate directory page. As always, absence from a register is not by itself proof a brand is gone; a domain that has ceased to exist, with a for-sale sign on the obvious alternative and no coverage anywhere, is a different matter. We will not advertise a deposit bonus at an address that does not resolve.

We removed it on 20 July 2026. We would rather show you nothing than point you at an offer we cannot stand behind, so there is no sign-up link on this page. See every licensed betting site in Nigeria →

Nigeria changed who licenses betting in November 2024

On 22 November 2024 the Supreme Court of Nigeria, in Attorney General of Lagos State & Ors v Attorney General of the Federation & Ors (Suit No. SC/1/2008), unanimously nullified the National Lottery Act 2005. A seven-member panel held that the National Assembly had no power to legislate on lotteries and games of chance, so the Act - and the National Lottery Regulatory Commission it created - now applies only within the Federal Capital Territory. Regulating betting elsewhere in Nigeria is exclusively a matter for state governments.

What that means when you read any Nigerian review, including ours: an NLRC licence number no longer establishes, on its own, that an operator is authorised in your state. Many of our Nigerian pages still describe licensing in NLRC terms because that was the framework when they were written, and we are working through them. Check your own state regulator's list - for example the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority - before you deposit.

Pros

    Cons

    • orbitbet.ng does not exist in DNS - there is no reachable site
    • orbitbet.com is not the operator; it redirects to a domain marketplace selling the name
    • No operating company identified, and no entry on the Lagos LSLGA list or the FCT LRO register
    • No independent Nigerian coverage of the brand at all
    • Our previous rating rested on a single affiliate directory page

    Our verdict

We have withdrawn OrbitBet's welcome offer, and this page now exists to say why rather than to send anyone there. The site is gone. orbitbet.ng returns NXDOMAIN - not a timeout, not a block on our end, but no such name in DNS - which we checked against a public resolver because this machine's own resolver fails silently on gambling domains. The obvious place to look next, orbitbet.com, turns out not to be the operator at all: it redirects to a domain marketplace where the name is listed for sale. Nothing else props the brand up either. There is no entry on the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority's published list, none on the FCT Lottery Regulation Office register, and no independent Nigerian coverage of OrbitBet anywhere we looked - it appears in none of the large Nigerian welcome-bonus round-ups. We should be straight about our own part in this. The earlier version of this page rested on exactly one source, an affiliate directory listing, and on that basis we published a score of 6.7 and a first-deposit bonus as though you could go and claim it. One aggregator entry is not evidence that an operator exists, and we should not have treated it as such. A brand can change address without announcing it, and absence from a register is not proof of anything on its own. But a domain that has ceased to exist, a for-sale sign on the alternative, and silence everywhere else leave us with no basis to ask anyone to deposit money here.

    How we rated it

    Sportsbook (36%)3

There is no site to assess. orbitbet.ng does not exist in DNS, so nothing about the sportsbook - markets, odds, live betting - could be examined.

    Trust & licensing (27%)3

No operating company found, no entry on the Lagos LSLGA list or the FCT LRO register, a domain that returns NXDOMAIN, and a .com alternative parked for sale. The previous 6.0 rested on a single affiliate directory page.

    Customer support (18%)3

No documented complaints, but that means nothing here: there is no reachable operator to complain about, and no independent coverage of the brand in any Nigerian source we searched.

    Bonuses & value (18%)2

Cut from 7.5 and the offer withdrawn. Whatever the terms once were, there is currently nowhere to claim anything. We score what a reader can actually get.

    How we verified this

Domain status checked against a public DNS resolver and reported as NXDOMAIN - the name does not exist - rather than the weaker 'site did not load'. Licensing checked against the two Nigerian regulator registers we can read. Where a review rests on a single affiliate directory and nothing else corroborates it, we withdraw the offer rather than leave a score standing on it.

    About OrbitBet

OrbitBet was listed as a Nigeria-facing sportsbook. We can no longer show that it operates: the domain we held for it, orbitbet.ng, does not exist in DNS, orbitbet.com is a parked name offered for sale rather than the operator, and no Nigerian regulator register we can read lists the brand. We withdrew its welcome offer on 20 July 2026 and keep this page so that anyone searching for OrbitBet finds that stated plainly.

    OrbitBet FAQ

    Is OrbitBet safe and legit?

We cannot show that OrbitBet is operating at all. Its domain returns NXDOMAIN, orbitbet.com is a parked name for sale rather than the operator, no Nigerian regulator register we can read lists it, and no independent coverage of the brand exists. We have withdrawn its offer and do not recommend depositing.

What is the OrbitBet welcome bonus?

There is none to claim. We withdrew the offer on 20 July 2026 because orbitbet.ng no longer exists in DNS, so there is nowhere to deposit or to claim anything.
