Betnacional is a genuinely SPA/MF-licensed (Portaria no. 2.092/2024, operator no. 0006/2024) Brazilian sportsbook and casino, operated by NSX Brasil S.A. and one of the market's most visible sponsors. In 2024, global operator Flutter Entertainment acquired the wider NSX Group (Betnacional's parent) for a reported US$356 million, with NSX Group CEO Joao Studart going on to lead Flutter Brasil. On Reclame Aqui, an important Brazilian consumer-complaint platform, Betnacional shows a strong 8.5/10 score with roughly 97% of complaints answered over the last 6 months - a genuinely good sign. We want to report something serious directly rather than stop there: NSX Brasil, alongside sister brands Mr Jack Bet and Pagbet, faced a BRL 500 million collective public civil action alleging failures in protecting minors from betting. In May 2025, a Federal District Court judge denied the request to suspend the companies' operations, finding that NSX Brasil holds valid Ministry of Finance authorization and has implemented the required biometric age-verification systems - but the case remains open, with plaintiff organizations asked for further evidence of any biometric-system failures. No welcome bonus is offered because Brazilian law (Lei 14.790/2023, effective since 1 January 2025) bans sign-up and first-deposit bonuses market-wide - only conditional promotions like freebets and cashback are permitted, which we report honestly.
