Huge global sportsbook & casino with deep markets and crypto banking

Not available lawfully here

Is 1xBet legal in Sri Lanka?

No. Real-money gambling is banned in Sri Lanka. Under Sri Lanka's Gambling Regulatory Authority Act of 2025, in force since 1 December 2025, in force since 2025, 1xBet cannot lawfully offer you a welcome bonus here, and you cannot lawfully claim one.

Sri Lanka legalised online betting rather than banning it - but only through operators licensed by the new Gambling Regulatory Authority, which took effect on 1 December 2025 and was intended to be fully operational by 30 June 2026. A licence from the Director-General is mandatory, applicants must be companies registered under Sri Lanka's Companies Act, and a specific digital gambling licence is required to operate online. The other half of that law is why you see no offer here: unlicensed offshore betting sites are explicitly illegal, and the Authority can block them and penalise both the operators and anyone promoting them. We cannot evidence that the operators we cover hold a Sri Lankan digital gambling licence, so we will not point you at one as though we could. If you are in Sri Lanka, check the Authority's own list of licensees rather than trusting any affiliate site, including this one. (Sources cite the Act as both No. 16 and No. 17 of 2025; we report that discrepancy rather than guess which is right.) source

Any 1xBet bonus you see advertised for Sri Lanka is offered from an offshore site operating against local law. Your payments can be blocked, your account can vanish with a mirror domain, and no Sri Lanka regulator can help you recover funds. We therefore show no offer and no sign-up link on this page. Our verdict

1xBet is a product heavyweight — one of the widest sportsbooks and payment ranges anywhere, with strong live betting and crypto banking. But it runs on an offshore Curacao licence, isn't UKGC-approved and is banned or restricted in the US, UK, France, Spain and other regulated markets, with a mixed regulatory and press record. Treat the trust caveats seriously and only use it where it is licensed to accept you.

About 1xBet

1xBet launched in 2007 and grew into one of the world's largest online betting brands, covering sports, esports and casino in a huge number of countries and leaning heavily into crypto banking. It operates from an offshore base and has drawn regulatory and press scrutiny; it says it is now pursuing local licences in regulated markets. It is aimed at global punters where it is licensed — not at players in the UK, US, France or Spain.

1xBet FAQ

Is 1xBet safe and legit?

1xBet is a very large, long-running operator, but it runs on an offshore Curacao licence and is not approved by the UKGC; it is banned or restricted in several regulated markets and has faced regulatory and press scrutiny. That means weaker dispute-resolution and player protection than a UKGC or MGA book. Only use it where it is licensed to accept you and never deposit more than you can afford to lose.

What is the 1xBet welcome bonus?

1xBet advertises a 100% first-deposit sports bonus plus a casino welcome package with free spins, but the cap, promo code and wagering vary by country and change over time. Always read the current on-site terms before claiming.

Can I use 1xBet in my country?

1xBet accepts players in many countries but is restricted in the UK, US, France, Spain, Russia and others. Check it is licensed to accept players from your country before signing up.
